Ideal decoration:
Bark complements and diversifies the substrate composition, thus mimicking various natural substrates. Bark will add charm to any terrarium: from desert, through subtropical to heavily humid tropical environments.
Can be mixed!
You can mix bark with other substrates for better effects:
- with beech or alder chips in dry terrariums
- with coconut fiber or coconut chips in subtropical terrariums
- with peat in any form for wet terrariums
Antibacterial and antifungal properties:
Such properties protect your pet from microorganisms that could harm it. More importantly, these properties limit the growth of bacteria and fungi in other types of substrates.
Absorbs unpleasant odors:
This is another advantage of this versatile substrate. Bark strongly absorbs and masks unpleasant odors coming from, for example, urine or feces.
