Purigen is a top-quality synthetic absorbent, significantly outperforming other similar products available on the market. It is not just a mixture of ion exchangers and absorbing substances, but a unique macroporous synthetic polymer that captures both soluble and insoluble impurities from water. Its efficiency and speed of action exceed similar products by 500%. By removing organic pollutants, it effectively eliminates ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites from the tank, while not depriving the water of valuable trace elements. It significantly increases the reduction-oxidation potential of the water, making it crystal clear. Purigen granules darken as they are used, but the product can be regenerated using household bleach. It is designed for both marine and freshwater aquariums.

Selectivity of action:
Purigen is an organic filtration resin with the highest efficiency available on the market. No other product can cleanse water as effectively. Unlike other products containing only ion exchangers, Purigen is also designed to eliminate organic pollutants. While ordinary resins are already completely saturated with metals and other pollutants, Purigen is just beginning to reveal its potential. It hardly absorbs simple particles, capturing mainly large molecular nitrogen-containing compounds, which in an aquarium mainly come from fish and invertebrate feces and decomposing plant shoots.

Efficiency:
Thanks to the large surface area of the granules, Purigen is exceptionally efficient and has a high capacity for accumulating impurities. All available resins on the market are in the form of smooth-surfaced beads, which can be seen under a microscope. The spherical granules of Purigen are highly porous, significantly increasing the contact surface with water.

Regeneration:
Purigen is easy to regenerate. During use, it changes color from light to dark brown to almost black. In this state, it can be regenerated by rinsing in a water solution of bleach. The chemicals contained in it "burn out" the impurities accumulated in the Purigen granules. Products suitable for regeneration in a salt solution consist only of ion exchangers. Moreover, this method will not rinse out organic pollutants, which gradually accumulate in the resin.

How to use:
Rinse before use. Transfer the resin to a fine mesh filtration bag. One liter of Purigen is sufficient to purify about 4,000 liters of water for six months. The consumption of the product is indicated by a change in color to dark brown or almost black.
