Therefore, it is important to remember to regularly replace the bulb/tube, which should usually occur after 100 - 150 days.

How to use the card:
Hold the card under the UV lamp in the place of the most intense action to see the intensity of the emitted light (low, moderate, or high).
Adjust the distance between the card and the light source according to your needs.
The card measures the intensity of ultraviolet radiation within 10 seconds.
A 10-second interval should be maintained between successive measurements.

The level of UV radiation equivalent to LOW and MODERATE readings is suitable for most species of reptiles and amphibians. The HIGH level indicates a dangerously high level of radiation, while if the card does not change color, it indicates too low a level of UV radiation, informing about the need to replace the light source.
