How to use the card:
Hold the card under the UV lamp in the location of the most intense action to see the intensity of the emitted light (low, moderate, or high).
Adjust the distance between the card and the light source according to your needs.
The card measures the intensity of ultraviolet radiation over 10 seconds.
There should be a 10-second interval between consecutive measurements.

The level of UV radiation equivalent to LOW and MODERATE readings is suitable for most species of reptiles and amphibians. The HIGH level indicates dangerously high levels of radiation, while if the card does not change color, it means the UV radiation level is too low, indicating the need to replace the light source.
