Description

Fluorescent lighting, unlike a regular light bulb, evenly distributes heat and UVA and UVB radiation.
It effectively stimulates the growth of reptiles from tropical and subtropical regions by emitting optimal levels of UVB and serves as a source of essential radiation for optimal calcium metabolism. UVA radiation stimulates appetite, activity, and reproductive behaviors. Reducing the level of UV radiation is beneficial for reptiles which in natural conditions have limited access to this type of radiation, due to high air humidity, densely shaded places, frequent weather changes.
