Description
Fluorescent lighting, unlike ordinary bulbs, evenly distributes heat and UVB/UVA rays throughout the enclosure.
It effectively stimulates the development of reptiles from desert and semi-desert regions by emitting optimal levels of UVB and serves as a source of essential radiation for optimal calcium metabolism. UVA radiation stimulates appetite, activity, and reproductive behaviors. A high level of UV radiation is beneficial for reptiles that in natural conditions receive an exceptionally large dose of this radiation due to low humidity, absence of clouds, and lack of vegetation providing shaded areas. Full effectiveness up to 50cm.
