LED Technology.
The bulb has 5 diodes. 2 diodes are responsible for UVA emission (one of which has a wider light range), 2 for UVB, and one for daylight. Only recently have manufacturers offered fully effective and replicated light in the ultraviolet range. The effectiveness of this light is confirmed by numerous tests on professional measuring devices.

Why are not all diode lights visible?
First of all, please remember that the human eye does not see ultraviolet light waves. When the lamp is turned on, we will only see white light, three barely visible diodes of deep violet color, and one stronger purple. This stronger purple diode is responsible for providing the pet with a larger spectrum of UVA light so that it can orient itself in its environment.

Concentrated LED light:
So far, the spiral bulb emitted light in a 360-degree radius, in other words, in every direction and only a bit towards the terrarium. Of course, this is improved by expensive lamps with reflectors that direct some of the "lost" light in the right direction. This is completely opposite to UVB LED lamps, where the light is emitted 90% perpendicularly downwards. Additionally, inside the mini UVB lamp, there is a reflector directing the remaining light downwards.

Better penetration.
LED diodes have better light penetration. Therefore, UVB light reaches further than in the case of traditional bulbs or UVB fluorescent lamps.

Considering efficiency, light penetration, and concentrated light, it should be noted that the bulb should be placed at a distance of no less than 35 cm from the animal.

Emission of daylight.
