What filtration does the CUP filter provide? 

- mechanical filtration
The filter has a sponge responsible for mechanical filtration. The cylindrical sponge is the first filtration medium contained in the filter. 

- biological filtration
The biological filtration is managed by a ceramic cartridge with an exceptionally porous structure. This cartridge is responsible for breaking down harmful NH3, NH4, and NO2. 

- chemical filtration 
Chemical filtration is helpful in combating algae, diseases, etc. Various cartridges are used for this purpose. The CUP filter has a place for such cartridges right next to the biological cartridge. 

- UV-C sterilization
Sterilization is one of the best ways to prevent the formation of algae, diseases, or mold. The lamp effectively kills all spores in both the initial and later stages of their development. 

Is operating the CUP filter difficult? 
The filter is extremely easy to operate. Each filtration cartridge has a separate container, making maintenance or replacement of cartridges hassle-free and time-efficient.

Water pump:
The water pump is incredibly energy-efficient and ultra-quiet. The water outlet can be adjusted within a range of 180 degrees. 

Operating the UV lamp in the CUP filter:
The lamp has a separate switch. Thus, you can adjust the lamp's operating time, thereby regulating the water quality in the aquarium. The UV lamp's bulb is standard and can be replaced if necessary. The filter's housing has an indicator light showing the proper operation of the bulb. 

How to install the filter in the aquarium?
The filter is fully submersible. It has a strong holder with three suction cups. 

Aeration in the CUP filter: 
The filter has an additional option for aerating the water through an air inlet. The inlet has adjustable performance.
