Osram Germicidal Puritec HNS 55W G13. Standard double-ended base / G13 two-pin plug (sometimes referred to as G55). Thickness 26mm, known as T8. Average length 90cm.
It is a direct replacement for the PHILIPS TUV T8 55W G55 lamp.
How UV-C light works:
Ultraviolet light waves in the range known as UV-C and wavelengths: 100–280 nm quickly, effectively, and on a large scale kill all kinds of microorganisms. The high effectiveness of UV-C light sterilization has been known for years and is commonly used in almost every industry that requires sterile conditions.
