Osram Germicidal Puritec HNS 30W G13. Standard double-ended base / two-pin plug G13 (sometimes described as G30). Thickness 26mm, referred to as T8. Average length 90cm.
It is a direct replacement for the PHILIPS TUV T8 30W G30 lamp.
How UV-C light works:
Ultraviolet light waves categorized as UV-C with a wavelength of 100–280 nm quickly, effectively, and on a large scale kill all kinds of microorganisms. The high effectiveness of UV-C light sterilization has been known for years and is widely used in almost every industry requiring sterile conditions.
