Osram Germicidal Puritec HNS 15W G13. Standard two-sided base / two-pin plug G13 (sometimes described as G15). Thickness 26mm, called T8. Average length 44cm. (from 43.5 without pins to 45.5cm with pins).
It is a direct replacement for the PHILIPS TUV T8 15W G15 lamp.
How UV-C light works:
Ultraviolet light waves in the range defined as UV-C with a wavelength of 100–280 nm quickly, effectively, and on a large scale kill all kinds of microorganisms. The high effectiveness of UV-C light sterilization has been known for years and is widely used in almost every industry requiring sterile conditions.
