Why are temperature measurements in a terrarium so important?
Animals have certain specific adaptive abilities. The temperature in the terrarium must be as varied as possible. The breeder should monitor and have knowledge about the temperature in every hiding spot, nook, heat island, etc.

What can SH108 do?
The thermometer, using infrared waves, can measure temperature from a distance of 2-13 cm.
With an accuracy of 0.1°C, it will measure the temperature in the deepest hiding spot, nook, on the heat island, on the substrate, on roots, and other elements and places for climbing, basking, or sleeping.

Why is the SH108 thermometer better than a traditional one?
It takes measurements instantly. The measurement is performed in real-time. This means that by directing the thermometer's head in another direction/on another surface, it will immediately provide the measurement result.
When measuring from a distance, there is no need to place the probe or the entire thermometer in the chosen spot, and there is no need to wait for the result, as is the case with a traditional thermometer.
Using an infrared thermometer does not stress the animal.
