Modulating power thermostat. What is it about?
Regular thermostats turn devices on and off, for example: a bulb to balance the temperature in a terrarium. This thermostat will turn on the bulb and smoothly reduce its power so that it emits the amount of heat you want.
So: You set the temperature to, for example, 35°C. The thermostat will turn on the bulb at 100%, and when it reaches the temperature of 35°C in the terrarium, it will reduce its power to maintain the desired temperature. If the temperature in the terrarium drops (for example, because you opened the door), the thermostat will gently increase the power of the bulb to stabilize the temperature.
Of course, it works the same way with heating mats and heating cables, not just with bulbs.
How does the thermostat check the temperature?
Using a probe placed on a long cable. The probe is waterproof, and you can place it wherever you want.
How do we program it?
It's easy! Using the knob, you set the temperature you want in the terrarium. From 26°C to 42°C. This programming is "resistant" to power outages in the house. After the electricity returns, the thermostat always maintains the programmed temperature that you set with the knob.
