Terrarium - not industrial:
This is a feature of the thermostat that you should consider. What is the difference? Industrial thermostats have a much wider operating range (e.g., from -40 to +110°C) which is important for industry, but completely unnecessary for terrariums. Thermostats with such a wide operating range are much less accurate!!! The Myriaton thermostat has an operating range from +16 to +40°C. With such a narrow operating range (and simultaneously sufficient for any reptile or amphibian), the thermostat maintains mega accuracy at every single degree of temperature, which is enormously important for your reptiles or amphibians. 

Heating or cooling?
The thermostat can reverse its operation. Therefore, it can control cooling (e.g., fan) or heating (bulb, cable, etc.) depending on what you need at the moment. The cooling option will definitely be appreciated by axolotl owners.

Quick programming and LCD display:
Programming is extremely simple and anyone can handle it, even if they have never used such devices before. During programming, the display will show you the temperature you set. After programming, Myriaton will switch the display to standby, showing you the current temperature in the terrarium. 

What can I connect to the thermostat:

- bulbs, heat emitters, heaters, heating cables, heating mats, heating stones.
In total, their power (as you can connect several such devices at once - using a splitter or power strip) must not exceed 1100W. That is plenty, so you definitely won't get close to that value. 

- fans, water pumps, and other devices with electric motors
Their total power must not exceed 275W. That’s still too much. Fans use about 3W to 5W. Water pumps for waterfalls use about 10W.
