Why do I need this device?
For your convenience and the safety of your pet. You just need to program the conditions you want inside the terrarium once, and the device will take care of ensuring that the temperature and time of day are appropriate. It will automatically turn on, for example, lights during the day or a misting system or fogger, and it will continuously measure and control the temperature.
Two buttons... and everything works:
The EZ thermostat has a quick programming feature. Just select the "tropical" or "desert" option, and the device will program the appropriate temperature for day and night and adjust the length of the day along with the lighting. Just choose what kind of pet you have - "desert" for desert animals and "tropical" for tropical ones.
Manual programming:
Of course, you can set all the data yourself. This includes:
- temperature accurate to 1°C separately for day and night
- hysteresis, that is, an allowable temperature difference of up to 15°C (just like in nature. After all, temperature is not constant throughout the day!)
- length of day and night
- alarm notifying you of too high or too low temperature.
- set the exact time of the current part of the day. To the second
- second timer. You can program 4 operating times for a device, e.g., a misting system, accurate to one second.
All of the above settings are easy to input. Each function has a separate button. Therefore, anyone can program and select the appropriate settings for themselves.
Display and backlight:
First of all, it's worth mentioning that the LCD display has a bright backlight. This makes it easier to read the data. However, if the backlight bothers you at night, you can simply turn it off.
All programmed data is displayed. The large screen can accommodate all of it. It will similarly display the "desert" and "tropical" programs, making it clear what settings they have. In addition to the settings, the screen constantly shows the current temperature.
Temperature probe:
The probe, which continuously collects information, is placed on a 150cm long cable. The cable can be detached from the thermostat to facilitate replacement or installation of the device. Just place the probe cable in the appropriate location, and the thermostat will be able to regulate the temperature.
Plugs:
The EZ thermostat has all EU plugs, which fit standard sockets used currently in Poland, among other places.
Memory:
Don’t worry. If there is a power outage, the device will remember the programmed data and will continue to count every hour, minute, and second. This way, it won’t get lost in case of a power failure.
Once again... for a quick explanation:
- thermostat: different temperatures for day and night. The temperature during the day, for example, may fluctuate (hysteresis), reflecting the natural climate.
- day and night: set the length of day and night, or use the "desert" or "tropical" functions
- the "desert" and "tropical" functions can be quickly programmed and you can use the entered data for desert or tropical animals
- second timer: use the timer. Connect, for example, a misting system, fogger, or other device. Set 1, 2, 3, or 4 operating times (ranges) accurate to one second.
