Repti-Zoo THC THC10 Deluxe - thermostat with timer

Repti-Zoo THC10 regulates temperature - an essential environmental parameter inside the enclosure, maintaining appropriate conditions for animals from every corner of the world.
It combines a thermostat and a timer regulating day and night cycles.
Two electrical socket outputs operate independently, providing power to the connected device.
Output "A" - temperature; can be programmed for heating or cooling and set for different temperatures during day and night.
Output "B" regulates the lighting operation.

The thermostat has a hysteresis function, reflecting the natural environment, e.g., passing clouds.

THC10 is equipped with a large, clear, and backlit LCD display. It is easy to program and install in any terrarium, thanks to the included adhesive Velcro and mounting bracket for the controller. Full control of temperature fluctuations promotes the well-being of the pet and stimulates appetite, reproductive behaviors, and induces hibernation. The device remembers settings in case of a power outage.


Example device configuration:

- Connect a heating device (heat lamp, mat, cable) to the first channel and set the time interval, e.g., 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Set the temperature for this interval, e.g., 28ºC. Set the second time interval from 7:00 PM - 9:00 AM and the temperature to 22ºC.

- Connect the lighting to the second channel and set the time interval, e.g., 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

The device is ready for operation. With the above settings, the thermostat will automatically maintain the temperature in the tank at 28ºC during the day (from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM). After 7:00 PM, it will lower the tank temperature to 22ºC. The temperature drop simulates the upcoming night, which will begin at 8:00 PM.

In the morning, the "sun for the enclosure" will rise at 8:00 AM and the temperature will rise to 28ºC within an hour.

- Additionally, the thermostat has a cooling mode. The thermostat's operation is reversed, and the connected device reduces the temperature to the user-defined level. This function is often essential during summer heat waves, especially when keeping amphibians and tropical reptiles.
