The RINGDER RC-316M digital thermostat features two outputs: one for heating and another for cooling. Both outputs operate simultaneously; when the programmed temperature is exceeded, the heating device is turned off and the cooling device is turned on. The thermostat also includes a time delay function, which can pause the operation of the heating or cooling device. It is possible to use only one output, leaving the other disconnected.
The device features a large, easy-to-read backlit LCD display that is simple to program and can be mounted in the lid of an aquarium or in the panel of a terrarium. The thermostat includes a temperature alarm function. The device remembers settings in the event of a power outage.
