The volcanic substrate for aquariums AF Lava Soil is rinsed, but even so, right after filling the aquarium, the water may be cloudy for about 12 hours. This is natural and does not cause any side effects. After some time, the cloudiness should clear. Due to the fact that the lava substrate Aquaforest Lava Soil is rich in minerals, we recommend that for the first six months, fertilizers containing micronutrients be carefully dosed to avoid their accumulation in the aquarium.

HOW TO USE VOLCANIC SUBSTRATE FOR AQUARIUMS
You should spread a layer of AF Lava Soil about 7 cm thick on the bottom, fill it with water, then plant the plants and top up the aquarium with water.
