Aquarium substrate for plants H.E.L.P. ADVANCED SOIL PLANTS is a professional substrate for plant tanks, including the now so popular natural aquariums. It comes in the form of black granules with a diameter of 1 to 4 mm, made exclusively from natural, organic ingredients.
Proven formula The unique formula makes it possible for the aquarium substrates H.E.L.P. ADVANCED SOIL - used instead of traditional sand or gravel - to quickly mature the tank, stabilise the water conditions in it to an ideal level, and ensure excellent growth and development of aquarium plants and shrimps. The ideal structure of the substrates causes that they slowly release the richness of components contained in them, thanks to which they do not need to be replaced and are effective for a long time.



Effect:

Correction of water parameters - the substrate actively influences aquarium water parameters, adjusting them to the needs of aquatic plants. It allows for easy maintenance of the carbonate hardness at the level of up to 3ºd and of the pH level within the range of 5.5-6.5.

Nutrients - the substrate contains very large quantities of gradually released nutrients ensuring excellent growth even for the most demanding aquatic plant species that draw mineral compounds from the substrate.

Biological filtration - the porous structure of the substrate makes it an excellent habitat for beneficial filter bacteria that eliminate nitrogen compounds from the water and improve its quality.

Decorative values - the dark colour of the substrate allows for a decorative look in the tank - against the background of the substrate, luscious green or intense red leaves and plant stems are perfectly visible and make a particularly striking impression.
