Aqua-art Aqua Substrate II+ 5.4kg - Brown substrate

AquaSubstrate is a scientifically developed substrate created from natural volcanic soil. Sintered with other essential materials and nutrients, it creates a porous, soft structure, ideal for the development of natural bacterial flora and proper nutrition for plant roots. The product is available in dark grey and is packaged in 5.4 kg bags. A 5.4 kg bag of AquaSubstrate contains enough substrate for an aquarium of approximately 40 litres. In a newly set up aquarium, cover the bottom surface with approximately 5-6 cm of AquaSubstrate.

The unique AquaSubstrate technology provides water clarification by absorbing turbidity and discolouration. AquaSubstrate lowers the hardness of the water and corrects the pH buffer, setting its value in the ideal, for plants and animals of tropical soft water biotopes, range of about 6.5-7.0.

Long-term fertilisation: AquaSubstrate contains a slow-release fertiliser for plants with a long-lasting effect.

Water clarification: AquaSubstrate restores water clarity, removes colour and turbidity caused, for example, by wooden decorative elements inside the aquarium.

Water pH stabilisation: AquaSubstrate softens the water to levels appropriate to the natural habitats of most plants and fish nurtured in our aquariums. Stabilises the pH buffer.

Root health: the porous structure of AquaSubstrate guarantees the development of natural bacterial flora and is excellent for healthy growth and nutrition of plant roots.
