AquaSubstrate II+ Powder is a scientifically developed substrate created from natural volcanic soil. Sintered with other essential materials and nutrients, it creates a porous, soft structure, ideal for the development of natural bacterial flora and the proper nutrition of plant roots.
The unique AquaSubstrate II+ Powder technology provides water clarification by absorbing turbidity and discolouration. AquaSubstrate II+ lowers water hardness and corrects the pH buffer, setting its value in the ideal range of approx. 6.5-7.0 for plants and animals from tropical soft water biotopes.
AquaSubstrate II+ Powder is an improved product of a new generation, designed specifically for harder water, most commonly found in Europe (stronger pH buffer correction). In addition, thanks to innovative technology, it provides 25% longer action and plant nutrition.

The product is available in black and dark brown and is packaged in 1.8 kg bags (approx. 2 litres). In a newly set up aquarium, cover the bottom surface with an approx. 5-6 cm layer of AquaSubstrate II+.
