NEO Soil Plant substrate is designed to create ideal conditions for a planted aquarium. The substrate has many features that maintain the appropriate pH, KH, and GH of the water. Additionally, it has a rich composition that supports plant growth.

These advantages are due to special two-component substrate granules, which contain various types of soil inside.
The granules are coated with a special sintered clay that prevents the granules from breaking apart and provides excellent protection for the soil inside against fragmentation and the high pressure present in large aquariums.

Excellent water quality and the rich composition of the substrate improve and accelerate plant growth. It improves the cell structure of the plant, strengthening its condition and speeding up the transformation of cells, significantly increasing the survival rate of freshly planted in vitro plants, which are usually initially not adapted to life in full immersion.

The soil creates stable water quality within just 7 days of flooding. Due to the special structure of the soil with different varieties inside the granules, this soil has a lower weight and an excellent filtering effect.

In addition to lowering pH and water hardness, this soil also has other positive properties.
For example, bacteria are already present in the soil and activate when the soil comes into contact with water. The bacteria convert harmful substances that could harm shrimp or fish.

The rapid growth of bacteria is possible due to the presence of nutrients for both aerobic and anaerobic nitrifying bacteria inside the substrate granules. The aquarium maturation process is much faster and more stable thanks to these features.
Microscopic openings in the coating of the granules increase their surface area, thereby expanding the habitat for other important strains of bacteria.

Unlike other substrates, NEO Soil also has adsorptive properties, ensuring excellent water clarity.
