Substrate from the plant producer:
Eco Plant - a well-known InVitro plant breeder - presents its finest creation and the secret to its success. Their natural substrates are dedicated to both aquatic and tropical plants and are unmatched in many ways. The mixture through which Eco Plant succeeded as a plant producer is now available to everyone.

Advantages in brief:
- primarily water parameter stabilization (aquarium)
- long-lasting even fertilization of plants
- excellent soil pH and good soil aeration (terrarium)
- stabilizes water pH (aquarium)
- purifies and binds hazardous substances from water and soil
- a significant dose of coloring fertilizers for plants

Organic substrate Plant Nutrient Balance:
It is a mixture of
- specially selected soil (45%)
- expanded clay (15%)
- fine volcanic rock (10%)
- activated carbon (15%)
- fertilizers for plants (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron, and other microelements) (10%)
- additives that absorb and fertilize plants (5%)

How to use in an aquarium?
The substrate in aquaristics is treated as a gravel base. It should be covered with gravel or another decorative substrate. Plant Nutrient Balance is considered a mineral bank for aquatic plants. Therefore, it is specially dedicated to aquariums with rich vegetation. Do not rinse before use.

How to use in a terrarium?
It serves as the target substrate for plants. Each plant should be cleaned of soil before placing it in the terrarium and inserted into this substrate. The substrate is safe for plants and animals. It does not mold or rot. Do not rinse before use.

What properties does it have?
It ensures water balance in the aquarium and soil balance in the terrarium. It guarantees long-lasting and even fertilization of plants. An additional mix aids in plant coloring and better rooting. A large dose of components enhances substrate permeability for better condition - ensuring full control and excellent long-term substrate condition.

What is specially selected soil?
It constitutes the majority of the mixture, about 45%. It is created through the selection and screening of soil from marshy and floodplain areas. During the prolonged cleaning process, contaminated or neutral soil for plants is separated. In this way, we obtain soil with a high mineral content without other elements found in the soil.

Why add volcanic rock and expanded clay?
Gravel from volcanic rock aerates the soil perfectly, just like expanded clay. It improves soil permeability for water and air. Additionally, it serves as a habitat for beneficial bacteria that decompose hazardous substances.

Why add activated carbon?
Activated carbon is designed to bind and neutralize hazardous compounds that naturally occur in any aquarium or terrarium. Carbon ensures the cleanliness of water and soil and safe parameters.

Why add fertilizers for plants?
This is a kind of "boost" for plants. It causes rapid rooting and growth. Additionally, the soil is saturated with fertilizers, which guarantees their long-lasting and even release.

Technical data:
- bag capacity: min 1l - 1.3l
- one bag dedicated to an aquarium: 50l
- one bag dedicated to a terrarium 20x20x20 or as an addition to other substrates
- do not rinse before use. Ready to use.

In many ways, we sellers are in a privileged position. We can review products without consequences, particularly enjoying those negative reviews. However, it is hard to pass by the creation that is the substrate mixture for plants from Eco Plant. Its composition and proportions set a high standard, becoming a benchmark for quality. It is difficult to find among other products something with such unmatched effectiveness and stability. When "venturing" into a planted aquarium or tropical terrarium, it is worth having an ally in the form of the perfect substrate for plants.
