Jiban soil is a complete substrate for freshwater aquariums. The creation of Jiban soil involved top-class specialists in the fields of chemistry, biology, and environmental engineering.

From nature to nature in your home:
The production of Jiban soil used the highest quality natural raw materials. A unique production process allowed for the preservation of all the natural properties of the substrates used.
The use of this substrate ensures long-lasting release of nutrients and biostimulants into the aquarium.

Habitat for nitrifying bacteria:
Thanks to revolutionary shaping and sintering technology, a homogeneous and porous matrix has been created, which is an ideal environment for the development of microorganisms and the root system of plants. The microorganisms and the plant remain in symbiosis, ensuring perfect growth and appearance.

Water parameters and pH level:
An additional advantage is the high ion-exchange capacity, which excellently stabilizes water parameters. Our substrate lowers general and carbonate hardness, correcting the pH, thus creating an ideal environment for the cultivation of both plants and tropical fish from slightly acidic water biotopes.

Instructions for use:
The substrate is ready to use; do not rinse it. It should not be mixed with substrates or base layers from other manufacturers. In a newly established aquarium, cover the bottom surface with a minimum of 6 cm layer of Jiban soil. Moisten the substrate thoroughly with water and leave it for about 30-45 minutes. Plant the plants carefully using tweezers, burying their roots in the substrate. For the first 4 weeks, it is recommended to change 25-50% of the water twice a week until the aquarium stabilizes. Upon the first filling of the tank and during water changes, the stabilization of its parameters takes some time. It is recommended to use RO water with the addition of Ishiko plant mineralizer. The use of tap water with a general hardness not exceeding 20°dH is allowed; however, in this case, the substrate will lose its ion-exchange properties more quickly.
