Description
Janguru Soil substrate
A specialized substrate designed for growing exotic plants from the equatorial zone in hobbyist cultivation. Composed of the highest quality natural raw materials, modeled after the humus layer of rainforests. Characterized by an acidic reaction, high organic matter content (organic matter), and natural clays with significant iron content. Additionally, the substrate has been which is intended to absorb toxic heavy metals, prevent root rot in plants, and neutralize unpleasant odors.
The granulated form increases the availability of oxygen in the substrate, which is much higher than in traditional substrates. Oxygen influences the increase in beneficial microorganisms as well as allows the plant to have a hassle-free gas exchange through the root system.
Usage: Spread on the bottom of the terrarium/container Haisu base (about 4-5cm) and then cover with a layer of Janguru Soil. Arrange your design, plant the plants, and water them.
It doesn't rot!
The substrate does not rot, mold, compact into hard balls, crumble, or create mud.
Safe for animals:
The substrate is safe for all small and large animals. It poses no threat in case of ingestion. The substrate pellet will dissolve in digestive juices and be excreted.
The substrate can be successfully used in:
- high humidity terrariums
- paludariums, where it will be partially or completely submerged in water
- jar gardens
- pot cultivation
- wabi kusa
Most commonly chosen for:
- breeding tree frogs, leaf frogs, and stream frogs
