Description
River sand is the safest substrate for aquariums and gardening, as it does not change the pH of water and soil, does not introduce excess macro and microelements, is completely resistant to the action of water, and does not change its properties over time.
Sand is naturally white - not dyed.
Application in aquaristics:
Sand works perfectly as an aquarium substrate. Additionally, it is great as a supplement to other aquarium substrates and serves a decorative role.
It is safe for shrimp, algae eaters, corydoras, and other bottom-dwelling animals.
Application in "jar garden":
In mini glass gardens, gravel works perfectly as a water drainage layer. It also serves a decorative function. When layered on top, it looks incredibly stunning and natural. Additionally, sand can be mixed with another type of substrate, increasing its volume and improving water exchange.
