How much bark will I receive?
Bark is packaged by weight. Purchasing one item (one offer) means buying 500g of bark, which is from 10 to even 20 pieces (most often around 15 pieces)
The bark comes in various shapes and sizes - it is a natural product. Bark is packaged randomly until a minimum of 500g is reached.
Bark Resistance:
Bark from Cork Oak practically does not absorb moisture. Therefore, it is suitable for aquariums, humid and dry terrariums, or for decoration such as "Forest in a Jar." It retains its natural freshness, color, and shape for a long time, and most importantly, it does not rot or mold.
Plants such as moss, lichens, and similar can easily grow on natural bark.
In a terrarium:
It can serve as a hiding spot, climbing branches, or to create an elevation for a heat island, etc. The bark can be easily worked with, cut, etc. Therefore, we can easily create a background, shelves, corridors, and more from bark. The bark can be glued, for example, with aquarium silicone.
In an aqua-terrarium:
It can serve as a floating island for, e.g., frogs, newts, or turtles. It remains on the surface, and its large buoyancy can support a heavy turtle or a group of Far Eastern toads.
In the garden "forest in a jar":
Bark can serve as decoration. It can be used to create, for example, an additional pot inside a vase by separating and raising successive layers of plants. It can separate soil layers. The range of possibilities is limited only by the decorator's imagination.
The pieces of bark vary in size. The smallest are about 5x5cm. The largest can reach 15 or 20cm.
