SunSun EW as a prefilter:
Using the EW prefilter significantly affects the cleanliness of the main filter as well as the clarity of the water. All mechanical impurities are trapped in the prefilter, which is easier to maintain than any external filter. The use of pre-filtration greatly extends the time between checks on the main filter, thus streamlining and simplifying the maintenance of the filtration system.

Why is it transparent?
The transparent housing of the filter allows the user to constantly monitor the internal condition of the device and the cleanliness of the filtration media. What filter media does it have?
The EW filter is standardly equipped with sponges of three gradations responsible for filtering solid particles and for the development of the bacterial flora responsible for breaking down compounds harmful to the aquatic environment. Additionally, it features a biological filtration medium known as bioballs.

The construction utilizes top-quality materials. The body, cover, and other plastic components are made of ABS plastic, which is an amorphous material with considerable density. Filter housing closure system:

The filter is equipped with large hose connections with valves. The valves allow for the closure of the water circuit, and the system for connecting the valves to the filter housing enables the disconnection of the valves along with the filled hoses from the prefilter, allowing for maintenance work.
