SunSun HW as a prefilter:
Using the HW prefilter significantly affects the cleanliness of the main filter as well as the clarity of the water. All mechanical impurities are trapped in the prefilter, which is easier to handle than any external filter. Using pre-filtration greatly extends the time between the necessity of checking the main filter, thereby improving and facilitating the operation of the filtration system.

What filter media does it have?
The HW filter is standardly equipped with sponges of three gradations responsible for filtering solid particles and for developing the bacterial flora responsible for breaking down harmful compounds in the aquatic environment.

Class of HW materials:
The construction uses top-class materials. The body, cover, and other plastic elements are made from ABS plastic, which is an amorphous material with considerable density. It is characterized by high resistance to cracking and mechanical damage. The seals are made of rubber with the appropriate number of connections in the polyolefin chain network, which ensure proper flexibility and durability. Filter housing closing system:
The effectiveness of the sealing is complemented by the appropriate closing system. The system is based on the action of four clamps that work on the principle of lever and latch, applying a large clamping force on the filter cover, thus ensuring the tightness of the closure.

HW filter valves:
The filter is equipped with large hose connections with valves. The valves allow for the closure of the water circulation, and the valve connection system to the filter housing enables the disconnection of the valves along with the filled hoses from the prefilter, allowing for maintenance work to be carried out.
