JBL Proflora CO2 Taifun Extend - module for expanding the reactor

Why is it worth it?
The use of an extension to the CO2 reactor allows for the nourishment of aquarium plants, which in turn leads to their healthy and full bloom. Properly nourished plants release more oxygen, which affects the health and well-being of fish. Additionally, well-nourished plants help fight algae, remove harmful substances, create hiding places for fish, and reduce pathogenic germs.

How it works
The extension to the reactor operates on the principle of CO2 gas flowing through a hose that leads it into the reactor. This gas appears in the form of bubbles that move in a circular motion upwards, similar to a multi-level parking lot. During this journey, the CO2 from the bubbles dissolves in the aquarium water, thus providing essential nutrients for the plants.

Easy to install
The installation of the extension to the JBL TAIFUN SPIRAL reactor is simple and quick. You just need to disconnect the lower module with the hose from the main reactor, add the extension module, and then reconnect them by sliding one into the other.

Increased capacity
The extension consists of 5 modules, each 16 mm high, which together increase the reactor's capacity to 200 l. This means that with one extension module, the reactor can handle aquariums with a capacity of up to 200 liters.

Increases efficiency
The reactor extension allows for an increase in its efficiency by 10°dKH or 200 l at 4° dKH, which is particularly beneficial for aquariums with higher water hardness.
