What is the SINE Wave Pump SLW Series?
This is the latest and most advanced model of the circulator from the Jecod/Jebao brand. The pump was created based on many years of experience and has been significantly improved compared to its predecessor from the OW/RW series. The SLW design assumes continuous operation in wave mode, where the motor construction and materials ensure quiet and reliable operation of the device. The pump is mounted directly on the glass surface using a strong magnet.
What differentiates the SLW series from the RW and other standard circulators?
In the RW series pumps, part of the electronics controlling the motor operation is located in the pump head, which can lead to failures and noisy operation.
The SLW series has all its electronics placed in the controller, ensuring reliability and silent operation. This solution is found only in the OW, SOW, SDW series and Hsbao EW. Over the years, this solution has been tested by thousands of users, not only in Poland, and today it is well-regarded by aquarists.
What distinguishes the SLW series from the SOW?
The difference concerns the magnet and the method of mounting the pump in the aquarium. The SLW is mounted directly on the glass surface, thus saving space in the aquarium. The pump head itself has a flat design, including the impeller and its blades, coil, and housing. Additionally, the pump generates 20% more output in l/h while consuming the same amount of electricity as its earlier counterparts, the SOW and OW.

The SLW series has a unique mounting method and an exceptional design of the pump head. The design of the circulator pump head has been maximally flattened, making it almost invisible in the tank. The subtle installation of the pump aims to reduce the presence of devices in the aquarium. The magnet has a special coating that dampens vibrations and ensures a strong and durable installation of the pump. What operating modes does it have?
W1: wave mode, the circulator operates intermittently, resulting in beautiful waves on the water's surface and swaying the interior of the aquarium.
W2: wave mode, the pump smoothly changes its output from 30% to 100% following a sine wave pattern. Naturally-looking waves are generated.
ELSE: random mode, the pump controller sends it various, random commands to change the mode of operation.
H: stream mode, in this mode the pump generates a constant flow of water.
C: alternating mode, the pumps operate alternately.
What functions does it have?
- dusk sensor: reduces the pump's output during the night, reflecting natural tidal waves.
- feeding mode: completely turns off the pump during the feeding of fish or corals. The pump automatically turns back on after 10 minutes, activating the previously programmed operating mode.
- pump synchronization: the pump communicates wirelessly with other pumps from the SLW, SDW, SOW, and OW series in the tank.
