Thanks to the water siphon, partial water changes are child's play. Suction by mouth becomes unnecessary, as the siphon creates suction as soon as the tap is turned on. It also works if the aquarium is positioned a bit HIGHER than the tap. To fill the aquarium, you switch the tap on the siphon, and it switches from water suction mode to water filling mode.
