Why does the pump have a nose?
Thanks to the attachment, commonly referred to as a "nose," the pump draws water from the nearest areas of the tank's bottom. This makes it a low (shallow) submersion pump, which means that only a few centimeters of water are needed for operation.

Large and small nose:
The set includes two types of noses. The large nose draws water only from the bottom of the tank and has a filtering grate that prevents the pump from being blocked by larger objects, such as pebbles.
The smaller nose can draw water from any direction, 360 degrees. This greatly facilitates the positioning of the pump in small tanks like sumps.

What can the pump be used for:
Primarily, it is designed for use in marine tanks. In a sump, the pump with a nose becomes indispensable.

Operation in full submersion and out of water:
The pump can operate completely submerged in water. Additionally, thanks to the connectors in the set, you can mount the pump out of the water, directly connected to the inlet and outlet hoses.

This is essential for marine aquaristics. Of course, it also performs excellently in freshwater. A ceramic shaft will never rust. Moreover, it does not heat up, does not change its volume, ensuring quiet operation.
