1. Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo'
A plant with delicate, round leaves, creating a dense, green carpet in the foreground of the aquarium. 'Monte Carlo' is relatively easy to grow and adapts well to various water conditions. Ideal for beginner aquarists due to its resilience and low requirements. This plant propagates by runners, allowing for quick and easy creation of lush green surfaces. Regular trimming encourages denser growth and maintains a low profile, enhancing the aesthetics of any tank.
2. Myriophyllum mattogrossense - mid-ground (3 seedlings + 1 to 3 FREE)
A plant with feathery, delicately branching stems, giving the aquarium a soft, light texture. Myriophyllum mattogrossense is characterized by rapid growth and intense green coloration. It is excellent for creating dense, vertical accents in the middle or back of the aquarium. The plant requires regular trimming to maintain a compact shape and promote bushier growth. Suitable for intermediate aquarists, it prefers well-lit tanks with access to nutrients.
3. Salvinia Auriculata - floating plant
Salvinia Auriculata is a floating plant with unique, oval leaves that create a green, floating island on the water's surface. Due to its ability to quickly cover the water's surface, it provides excellent protection for fish from excessive light and serves as a perfect refuge for young fish. This plant is also known for its filtration properties, helping to keep the water clean by absorbing excess nutrients, which can limit algae growth. Salvinia Auriculata is easy to maintain, making it an ideal choice for any aquarist, regardless of experience level. The plant reproduces by division, allowing for easy regulation of its quantity in the tank.
The above-mentioned plants will quickly grow and take on their target shapes (except for Hygrophila, which is already mature).
The plants in this set should be treated as cuttings for further cultivation and propagation.
