About the plant Alternanthera reneckii 'mini':
A smaller subspecies compared to the popular Alternanthera. Its popularity is due to its ease of cultivation and its distinctly shaped leaves. Its slow growth (and smaller leaves than its larger cousin) make it the best plant for beginner aquarists. It does not require strong fertilization and lighting, CO2 sets, or rich soil.
Adding iron will help the plant achieve strong coloration.
The plant forms a compact and dense "bush" with elongated leaves.
