Big ideas need space - just like in the 450-liter Rio 450 LED aquarium, which is 50 cm wide, 66 cm high, and is the largest aquarium in the RIO line. Large fish, and even the most demanding marine species will feel at home in this aquarium, as in their natural environment. The supporting base allows for exceptionally easy setup of the aquarium, without the need for special supports. Precise German craftsmanship, top-quality materials, and perfectly matched technology guarantee the highest quality and safety, ensuring long-lasting use of the tank. Also available in dark wood, light wood, and white colors.
MULTILUX LED / LIGHTING
Excellent brightness and perfect plant growth are what you get with JUWEL's state-of-the-art Multilux LED lighting technology. Replaceable 23-watt DAY and NATURE lamps create an optimal light spectrum while saving up to 50% energy compared to T5. The MultiLux LED lighting system for Rio 450 LED gives you the comfort of working with the aquarium even with the lights on. The lighting bar, welded using ultrasound, is 100% waterproof and meets the most stringent European safety standards.
PROVEN MILLION TIMES BIOFLOW XL / FILTER SYSTEM
For optimal filtration, the Rio 450 LED is equipped with a high-performance Bioflow XL system. This internal filter combines efficiency with safety and creates the heart of every JUWEL set. It operates under the principle "Water should stay in the aquarium!" and is the safest way to filter water in the tank. The Bioflow XL filter is equipped with five highly efficient filter cartridges and a quiet yet powerful Eccoflow 1000 circulation pump.
AQUAHEAT 300 W / HEATER WITH THERMOSTAT
The adjustable 300W AquaHeat Juwel heater, perfectly positioned in the water flow of the Bioflow L filtration system, ensures the correct temperature in the Rio 450 LED tank. With the use of top-quality silver contacts and shock-resistant borosilicate glass, JUWEL adjustable heaters meet the highest standards of performance and safety, as confirmed by the TÜV/GS certificate.
