Description
About the plant Hydrocotyle Leucocephala:
Hydrocotyle Leucocephala, also known as Brazilian Pennywort, is an exceptional aquarium plant with low requirements and high resistance to various conditions. This aquatic plant is easy to maintain and is a great choice for beginners due to its ability to adapt to a wide range of aquarium parameters.
In the aquarium, it will take on a shape resembling a water lily – just on a smaller scale. Its broad leaves will easily float on the water. It grows quickly and requires frequent trimming. It does not require CO2 dosing. However, if you wish to create a dense, bushy forest of large leaves, CO2 may prove to be very helpful.
In a terrarium, it works well as an emergent or marsh plant. It does require high humidity, but this is not a problem in tropical terrariums.
