This Rotala is often confused with more sophisticated varieties, which are increasing in number. The Green variety is characterized by small, slender leaves, lush growth, and a rather soft stem. It is recommended for larger tanks in the second or third plan.


When planting, clumps should be spaced 2.5cm apart to promote faster growth.

The addition of CO2 and soft water will significantly accelerate growth. This plant can grow quickly and will require regular trimming when grown in the right conditions.
