Description
About the plant Hygrophila Polysperma Sunset:
Hygrophila is a beautiful aquarium plant with fully colorful leaves. Generally easy to care for. Therefore, Hygrophila is a good choice for beginner aquarists, as this species of plant adapts well to a wide range of water parameters and aquarium sizes.
The plant can take on an emersed form, and if the right conditions are maintained, Hygrophila will produce small purple-blue flowers. Although Hygrophila is very resilient, this aquatic plant only blooms with the presence of high-quality aquarium lighting and a proper schedule for dosing macro and microelements.
The plant can be easily propagated by cutting and inserting individual shoots into the substrate.
The addition of CO2 and soft water will significantly accelerate growth. This plant can grow quickly and will require regular trimming when grown under the right conditions.
