About the plant Ludwigia Repens Mesakana:
The plant adds charm to any water body with its colorful appearance. The multicolored leaves grow in pairs opposite each other on a long and sturdy stem. The plant is not demanding in cultivation. However, the deep red coloration of the plant will require appropriate lighting and high iron content. The plant grows faster than its sister subspecies, which requires more attention.

When planted in clumps of 5 - 10 pieces, it looks exceptionally stunning and visually increases the volume of the aquarium.
Ludwigia Super Mini Red can also serve as a third-plan plant in nano aquariums.


The plant can be easily propagated by trimming and inserting new cuttings into the substrate. The substrate should have a significant amount of macro and micronutrients.

When planting, the clumps should be spaced 2.5cm apart for quicker growth.
