The Neo Cap series offers concentrated aquarium preparations in powder form enclosed in a capsule. This way, you reduce the number of bottles with various liquids that just take up space and are expensive. And in the end, you never know which liquid is running out. Here, the situation is much easier: you have 20 capsules, each of which contains several preparations in one. 

What does BACTER really "do"?
It contains a large amount of bacteria, not only nitrifying ones, in a dormant form, which activate immediately upon adding to water. 
Moreover, as soon as organic carbon (contained in the powder) is delivered, it supports the reproduction of the most beneficial bacteria. They use it as an energy source to consume and break down phosphate and nitrogen compounds (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates) as well as other organic and inorganic pollutants.
Additionally... carbon reduces the amount of heavy metals and other harmful substances from the liquids you add and from low-quality tap water. 
That's quite a lot for a small capsule, right?


In summary, BACTER powder replaces:
- liquid with nitrifying bacteria
- liquid that lowers NO2, NH3, and NH4
- liquid with substrate cleaning bacteria
- liquid with bacteria that reduce organic pollution
- carbon that reduces heavy metals

How to administer?
You should open the capsule over the aquarium, and the powder will spill out. Do not put the whole capsule in the water, as it will not dissolve!
If a fish eats the powder, it will be fine. It will only clean it a bit and improve its gut bacterial flora.
Pour it where you have the most water movement. 

If you have any water issues in the aquarium or a lack of bacteria, administer a maximum of 1 capsule every 3 days.
In other cases, 1 per week is sufficient. Using an aerator will improve the action of especially the cleaning bacteria (but it is not necessary).
