Micron Ion-X is a pouch for bulk filter media. The micro-sized mesh created from rigid nylon allows the use of very fine filter media (e.g. Organ-Ex, Diamond Carbon, Rowa Carbon, etc.). In addition, the stiff nylon threads ensure excellent water permeability through the bag without blocking the flow of water through the filter cartridge.
The bag is fastened with Velcro, which means that there is not a single gram of metal in the bag that could dissolve in seawater.
Nylon, guarantees long-lasting performance without deterioration of the bag, even when using hard cartridges with sharp edges.
The bag can be easily washed under running water.
