Sponges for AQUAEL filters made of carefully selected phenol-free sponge. They ensure efficient mechanical filtration of water by trapping visible impurities and suspensions. At the same time, they provide a substrate for nitrifying bacteria, thus also performing biological filtration.

To ensure optimal performance of the inserts, it is recommended to replace and maintain them regularly using only the "old" water taken during water changes from the aquarium.

The package contains two pieces.
