Description
Moss from Chile. What does it mean?
Until now, 100% of moss came from China or Cambodia. Moss from Chile differs from the Asian variety by its longer stem. An additional advantage is the disinfection of the moss. This process does not affect the plant's vitality. When you buy moss from Chile, you can be sure that you won't introduce bacteria, viruses, or microorganisms that could threaten your pets into the terrarium.
What is it used for?
Repti-Zoo Repti-Moss is an eco-friendly natural substrate. It is ideal for increasing and maintaining humidity in the terrarium.
- It can serve as a final uniform substrate for frogs and other amphibians or reptiles. Spread a thick layer and watch your pet in its natural environment.
- Moss can also serve as decoration for any terrarium or as a substrate supplement to increase humidity.
- Some reptiles (e.g., leopard gecko) require you to line one of the hiding spots with this moss. In this hiding spot, it will undergo shedding.
- It works very well as a substrate for laying and incubating eggs.
Is it safe?
It is completely safe for turtles, frogs, reptiles, and other animals, including burrowing or digging ones.
It contains no pigments or chemical additives.
Obtained from renewable materials.
The packaging contains 100 grams, which is about 4.5 liters.
How to use:
- Soak the substrate in 1.5 liters of warm water.
Not just in the terrarium!
Moss from Chile is great for the "forest in a jar" composition and as a substrate for plants like orchids.
