Description
- precise regulation
- heating or cooling
- you set the temperature range, e.g.: from 24 to 26 degrees, and the thermostat will maintain that temperature in the aquarium
- waterproof temperature probe
- ability to calibrate the temperature, meaning the entire thermostat's operation, for the best precision even after several years from purchase
- compatible with EU, PL, UK, and USA plugs
Aquarium - not industrial:
This is a feature of the thermostat that you should consider. The thermostat maintains detailed accuracy at every single degree of temperature, which is crucially important for your fish, corals, or plants.
Heating or cooling?
The thermostat can reverse its operation. Therefore, it can control cooling (e.g., fan) or heating (bulb, cable, etc.) depending on what you currently need. The cooling option will definitely be appreciated by axolotl owners.
Quick programming and LCD display:
Programming is extremely simple and anyone can handle it, even if they have not used such devices before. During programming, the display will show you the temperature you set. After programming, it will switch the display to standby, showing you the current temperature in the aquarium.
Hysteresis:
This is the constant operating mode of the thermostat. But what does it mean? You set the upper and lower temperature limits, e.g., of the water in the aquarium. When the temperature falls below the programmed level, the thermostat will turn on the heating device and will continue to operate until it reaches the second value, the maximum you set.
So, for example, you use the thermostat in an aquarium and you don't want the temperature to drop below 24 degrees, so you set that as the minimum temperature. At the same time, you program the maximum temperature to 26 degrees. The thermostat will not allow the temperature in the aquarium to drop below 24 degrees and will not overheat beyond 26 degrees. Such temperature fluctuations are what occurs in nature, where the temperature is not constant, due to, for example, clouds passing through the sun.
Calibration of the reading.
At any time, you can calibrate the thermostat and its measurements to restore its initial brilliance. This allows the device to operate with maximum precision for many years.
What can I connect to the thermostat:
- aquarium heaters
- coolers
- fans
in the terrarium:
- bulbs, heat emitters, radiators, heating cables, heating mats, heating stones
The total power (because you can connect several such devices at once - using a splitter or power strip) must not exceed 1500W. This is quite a lot, so you definitely won't get close to that value.
Technical data:
- maximum power of heaters, bulbs, cables, heating mats, etc.: 1500W
- operating range: -50 to 110 °C
- operating accuracy: 1 °C
- measurement accuracy: 0.1 °C
- length of power cable: 100 cm
- length of probe cable: 100 cm
