Description
Seachem Pristine improves water clarity. The bacteria contained in the product, developing in the water, will utilize a wide range of organic compounds including fats, which often create an unsightly protein film on the water surface. Unlike other similar products, this bacterial blend can function properly in an environment devoid of oxygen or with low oxygen content, where they will successfully develop and multiply, improving water quality. Pristine provides bacteria that decompose food residues, waste, and detritus in freshwater and marine aquariums. Biopolymers produced by efficiently functioning bacterial colonies bind pollutant particles improving water clarity. The unique blend of bacteria in Seachem Pristine has been composed to function effectively in a wide range of conditions encountered in aquariums.
How to use:
- shake before use
- turn off UV/ozone
- pour 1 cap (5ml) per 40l of water
- later pour a maintenance dose of 1 cap (5ml) per 80l of water in cases of changes in tank stocking, filter cleaning or medication, in case of antibiotics they should be removed by activated carbon, and a water change should be performed
- do not turn on ozone or UV light for 2-3 days to allow bacteria to settle in the tank
- recurring problems with high levels of certain compounds may indicate overfeeding or insufficient filtration.
