In a closed aquarium system, the parameters often become imbalanced. An efficient filtration system or an overdose of nutrient-reducing agents can lead to a drastic reduction in nitrate levels. Their too low concentration in seawater can slow down coral growth.

AF NO3+ is a product that raises nitrate levels in marine aquariums. The problem of too low NO3 most often affects aquariums with a large number of corals and a small number of fish. AF NO3+ is a source of pure nitrates, which are essential for the proper growth of corals. Nitrate concentrations are heavily dependent on the level of phosphates in the water. Before raising the NO3 level in the aquarium, it is important to check the PO4 concentration. Maintaining it in such proportions allows for the preservation of the appropriate chemical balance in the tank and protects it from excessive algae growth.

AF NO3+ is a product from the Aquaforest Lab line created for aquarists who want to have full control over the parameters in their tank. Before use, we recommend testing both NO3 and PO4 levels and gradually dosing until the desired nitrate level is achieved.

Dosing: 
- 1 ml of AF NO3+ added to 100 l of water in the aquarium raises the nitrate level by 0.5 mg/l (ppm)
- The maximum recommended daily dose is: 1 ml/100 l of water
- The optimal NO3 value in a marine aquarium is 1-4 mg/l (ppm)
- Frequently check the nitrate levels and dose AF NO3+ only when it is too low
- Ensure that the phosphate level is appropriate and use an accurate test
