Aquaforest Kalium 50ml - potassium in liquid form

The supplement contains highly concentrated potassium. Potassium is an important element responsible for the proper functioning of neurological functions. In soft corals, potassium is involved in the transport of nutrients. In SPS corals, a deficiency of this valuable element manifests as faded pink and red colors.

The use of filtration media based on zeolites in the aquarium can lead to potassium deficiency. Regular and balanced use of Kalium allows for maintaining appropriate potassium levels and results in the enhancement of red and pink coloration in SPS corals. The recommended potassium level in a reef aquarium is 360-380 mg/l.

Dosage: 1 drop per 100 liters of water daily. 1 ml of Kalium (~15 drops) in 100 l of water raises the potassium level by 1.86 ppm. It is important to remember that each aquarium is different, and dosing depends on the coral population and individual needs.
