Seachem Flourish Potassium 100ml

Potassium deficiencies may occur in a plant-intensive tank. Another reason may be a poor elemental content in the water. In both cases, potassium is a growth-limiting factor. Flourish Potassium prevents potassium deficiency (manifested by yellowing leaves) and accelerates plant growth. The most readily available sources of this element are potassium nitrate and potassium phosphate. Unfortunately, however, both of these substances introduce nitrogen and phosphorus into the system, which disturbs the N:P:K ratio (nitrogen: phosphorus: potassium). To prevent this, Flourish Potassium is derived from sulphate.

Use:

One capful (5 ml) for every 125 l of aquarium volume. This dose increases potassium levels by 2 mg/l. Use 2 - 3 times a week or as needed. Symptoms of potassium deficiency in plants are manifested by chlorosis (yellowing) and necrosis of leaves, weakening of shoots and root system.

Source: potassium sulphate Potassium in free form is present at a concentration of 50,000 ppm (5%). The regulations require that its content be given in the form of a compound that is not present in the formulation (K2O) instead of the more readable form (K).
