Seachem Flourish Nitrogen 100ml

No free ammonia is released during application, as the ammonium ions in the product are in bound form and are only released inside the plant cells. Flourish Nitrogen also provides nitrogen in the form of nitrates for species that are able to utilise them. It does not contain phosphorus.

Directions for use:

Beginners: 2.5ml (half a cap) for every 160 litres of tank water, twice a week or as needed when symptoms of nitrogen deficiency (chlorosis, dwarfing of plants) occur. This dose increases nitrogen levels by the same amount as a nitrate solution of 1mg/l

Advanced: To accelerate plant growth, it is recommended to use correspondingly higher doses (with the correct ratio). The formula may be helpful: 0.06vn=m, where v is the volume of the tank in litres, n is the planned increase in nitrogen levels, m is the volume of Flourish Nitrogen. As half of the nitrogen in Flourish Nitrogen is in the form of nitrate, reliable information on the level of this element can be obtained by multiplying the value obtained from the nitrate test by 2.
